Brief History

Eva Alexander, founder of Arts by Alexander, began her work at Rhodes Press in 1935.  The printing business, which also did picture framing, began in the late 1920′s.  Upon the death of Mr. Rhodes, Eva Alexander purchased and renamed the business as Arts by Alexander in October 1955.  It was located in downtown High Point until July 1968 when it relocated to Greensboro Road.
